Second-Order Properties for Planar Mondrian Tessellations

Abstract In this paper planar STIT tessellations with weighted axis-parallel cutting directions are considered. They known also as Mondrian in the machine learning literature, where they used random forest and kernel methods. Various second-order properties of such derived, particular, explicit formulas obtained for suitably adapted versions pair- cross-correlation functions length measure on edge skeleton vertex point process. Also, asymptotic behaviour variances discussed detail.
